This is my 2- page article for "'SOTA SPORTS"! I chose the layout so it shows who the articles are about on the left it is about the coach and the team as a whole while ion the right it is about the captain. The photo choices help show the teams character like the one mid-shot on the left. Multiple wide-shots are also used to show the whole body of the player. The article helps get a look inside the team and how the team is willing to put in all their effort to reach their goals.

This is my table of contents for my "'SOTA SPORTS" magazine! I chose a serious mid-shot for this page because it gives the viewer a preview of what the rest of the magazine is going to be about. The layout of this page helps the viewer locate where different articles are.

This is the cover of my magazine "'SOTA SPORTS"! I chose this layout for my magazine cover because it grabs the viewers attention with the bright orange background and large player on the front. It also lets the viewer know what the magazine is going to be about without having to open it.

Here are some shots that I didn't end up using on my magazine because they didn't stand out to me as much but to capture the top 2 photos I used the sports mode on the camera and for the rest of the photos that I shot I used the A+ mode on the camera.

I am going to be taking pictures of the captains of the Girls Varsity Soccer team in action. I will need to contact them and figure out a day where they are free and don't have practice maybe a Friday or weekend when they are available. I haven't taken the photos yet because they have been busy with games and practice but I will be going to in the next week.

This locations is where the magic happens on the field. The soccer field is the best place to take photos because that is where I can capture the best pictures of people in action and playing. These are the best photos because it shows the goal I am going to take pictures of people scoring on and the whole field.

I am going to be interviewing the coaches and captains of the girls Varsity soccer program at Sarasota High school. I will need to schedule a date that is either a Friday or weekend when they are free. Some questions I will be asking include: How has the soccer program developed since you have coached/ played here? How has this team impacted you as a whole? What encouraged you to start playing/ coaching soccer? What does it mean to be a captain of your team? These questions will help the reader understand the significance of the time, effort, and dedication that these players and coaches do to give their team strong leaders.

Some other articles and sections located in my magazine include a sections of tips and tricks for beginners looking into soccer. A section that would be in this magazine would be about all the different teams in the district and have articles about analysis's of different games in the Sarasota district. This would grab the consumers attention because it would show them some tips and tricks if they like soccer and it would also show them about all the soccer news in the area to keep them updated on scores. Ads will be evenly placed in the magazine so the reader doesn't get bored with all the ads in a row and stop reading the magazine.

In the table of contents it shows that I will be doing an interview with the coaches and captains to show how much the soccer program is changing as a whole. I will be using lots of photos to catch the consumers eye and leading them to want to read more. I contributed to this group activity by suggesting we make a bold orange font that sticks out on the page and to add many photos.
